HILSABECK, DONALD LEE
Of Columbia, SC, age 70, passed away on December 27th, 2022.
He is survived by his daughter Sarah Agle (Matt); Grandchildren, Morgan Sanders, Eirik Agle; three Sisters, Kay Spencer,(Steve) South Carolina, Janice Benn,(Dennis), Fenton Michigan, and Mary Omerzu( Tony), Florida and many, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Don grew up in Flint, MI, where he graduated from Ainsworth class of 1970. He was a member of the varsity swim
team. He received a Bachelor’s Of Science degree from U of M. He worked at GM in Michigan and Dana in Ohio as a computer parts designer. He was an avid reader, loved riding his bicycle, and camping. He read scientific journals, space, technology and followed online Blogs with special especially interest in Tesla and the new electric cars.
Don was kind and generous and would do anything for his friends and loved ones. He had a wonderful sense of humor and made everyone who knew him laugh. He will be forever missed.
A memorial visitation will be held in lieu of a funeral as Don wished. All are welcome to attend visitation between 11am-2pm on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
