NAGY, Priscilla Jean “Percy” (Torok) – of Davison, MI, age 91 passed away on July 6, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Rev. James Offrink officiating. Burial will take place in Sunset Hills Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10 AM Saturday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.
Percy was born on January 17, 1931, to Steve & Edith Torok (Sabo) in Flint, Michigan. She graduated from Flint Central High School in June 1949. Percy was an only child until age 18, when on October 8, 1949, she joined Julius Nagy Jr in Holy Matrimony, gaining 13 siblings overnight. Together, they had three children; Julius S. Nagy, William (Diana) Nagy, and David Nagy.
Percy graduated from the Hurley Nursing Academy, where she worked at Hurley Hospital as an LPN until her retirement in 1998. Caring for and serving others was always her top priority and she did so with great humility and incomparable kindness. She was soft spoken, but always saw the best in people. Percy made the best apple pie in all the land, and it was regularly requested for gatherings by anyone who knew her. She loved to cook, to bake, and to garden.
Percy ambitiously fought Stage 4 Breast Cancer 2 times, once in the Fall of 1999, and again in the Spring of 2016 until her death. She never once complained, and always had a positive attitude, putting her faith & her family above all else.
Left to cherish her memory are son, William Nagy (Diana), granddaughters, Shannon Fray (Michael), Ashley Nagy (Brandon Keene) and three great-grandchildren, Camden, Cason, and Breslyn Fray. Sisters-in-law; Barbara Loomis, Carol Leser (Bo), many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Jr.; sons, David and Stephen.
