Campbell, Francis “Scott”

October 28, 1947 – April 1, 2026

Born in Manistique, MI, and raised in Newberry. He came to Flint in 1965 and went to work for General Motors as a die maker. He was drafted into the army, where he was a medic in a helicopter. When he was discharged, he went back to his job at General Motors getting involved in the union. Starting as a committee man and ending his career as an Assistant Director in the International U.A.W. He loved hunting, fishing, bowling, golf, and just being at camp in the U.P. But what he loved most was being a husband, dad and grandpa. He was the best, he loved his family so much. He was a great friend. His love for others was truly amazing.

He met Tewanta “Tee” Browning in April of 1990 and they married November 3, 1990. For more than 35 years they were best friends. He had one son, Scott Kenneth Campbell, that he shared with his former wife, Debbie Flood. He had 2 granddaughters, Zoey Campbell and Hayley Richardson.

He had more friends than you can count. His closest in the last 2 years was his father-in-law, Bill Gay. Preceding him in death are his parents, Kenneth and Ethel Campbell; sister, Sandy Burton; and David Chenard.

Leaving to cherish his memories, Tewanta, Scott, Zoey, Hayley Richardson, Donna Snider, Bill and Sharon Gay, Michelle Chenard, Lucy Chenard, Olivier Bonais, and so many friends.

Special Thank You to Gentiva Hospice nurses, Jack and Michelle.
