LYNCH, John Archibald – of Clio, age 85, died Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at his residence. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Memorial contributions can be made to Ducks Unlimited.
John was born April 7, 1935 in Flint, Michigan to the late Michael and Marie (Harrison) Lynch. He grew up in Flint, Michigan and graduated from St. Michael Catholic School with the class of 1953. John received his Master’s Degree from William and Mary College. He served his country in the US Army. John married Joanne Richards on June 13th , 1960 in Flint, Michigan, and she preceded him in death in 1994. Prior to his retirement in 1995, John taught school at Flint Southwestern High School with 33 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and photography.
Surviving are: Children, JoEllen Lynch, Sean (Toni) Lynch; Grandson, Bryar Smith. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Siblings, Mark Lynch, Michael Lynch, Joseph Lynch, and Rita Lapine. Please sign our guestbook or share an online condolence with the family at www.oguinnfh.com.
