Borges, Lois L. - Age 68, of Fenton, died December 17, 2021 at her residence. Private services will be held with interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Lois was born May 5, 1953 in Greenville, PA, the daughter of Melvin F. Yost and Lois L. (Ferguson) Yost. Lois was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in Vietnam. She served 6 years in the U.S. Navy Reserves. Lois married William Frederick Borges in July 29, 1978 in San Diego, CA; he preceded her in death December 23, 2004. Surviving are: two sons, Justin Borges of Virginia Beach, VA, William "Bill" Borges of Fenton; grandson, Merik (Borgess) Ostensen; brother David Yost of Pennsylvania; brother-in-law Joe Steh of Ohio; mother-in-law Betty Borges of Burton; sisters-in-law Laura Bartos of Delavan WI, Linda (Jim) Humphrey of Clarkston; several nieces and nephews.
