Indish, Louise Ruth, 90, of Gaines passed away August 13, 2022. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the funeral time Thursday at the funeral home.
Louise was born December 25, 1931 in Curran, MI the daughter of Harry and Carrie (Conrad) Bugg. She was a 1950 graduate of Fairview High School. She married Stanley A. Indish on June 30, 1956 in Harrisville and he preceded her in death on September 21, 2000. She was a homemaker and a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Louise enjoyed playing cards, puzzle books, and gardening. She loved all wildlife, but especially enjoyed watching birds.
She is survived by her children, Keith (Janee) Indish, Karl (Karen) Indish, Karen Smith, Kendall Indish, Kelvin (Diane) Indish, and Kathy Indish; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Kenneth and eight siblings.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the McLaren Hospice team for their outstanding care of Louise in her final days.
