TUCK, Annie Irene- of Mt. Morris, age 86, died Friday, February 11, 2022, at her home.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Rev. Franklin Tuck Jr. officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to The Salvation Army.
Visitation 12 p.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Annie was born in Red Springs, West Virginia, on May 30, 1935, the daughter of the late Elgie and Ruby (Goddard) McClanahan and was a resident of Mt. Morris since 1965. She married Franklin Tuck, Sr. on January 23, 1952 and he preceded her in death on January 24, 2006.
She was a member of The Salvation Army Beecher Corps, She was an avid quilter and also enjoyed embroidery.
Annie lived a Godly life of loving obedience toward her husband and loving nurture of her family, neighbors, and anyone she met. She gave strength to her husband while he worked 30 years for GM. Together, they owned and operated Tuck’s Used Car Sales and Service, also for 30 years.
Surviving are her 4 children, Franklin, Jr. and wife Leonora of Rainelle, West Virginia,
Janet and husband Thomas June of Mount Morris,
Bruce Tuck of Mount Morris and
Tania Tuck of Mount Morris and
son-in-law, Guy Anderson of Ironwood;
24 grandchildren, Shawn, Tina (Jay), Chanda (Bill), Brian Jr., Apryll (Franklin), LeAnn, Autumn, Franklin III (Erica), Janelle (Seth), Maryanne (B.J.), Tabitha (Nick), Melissa (Micah), Katrina, Rafael, Guy II, Isaiah (Jessica), Elizabeth (Jamar), Gabrial, Kristin, Dakota, Courtney, Lila, Ajanae, and Adreanna;
35 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren;
5 brothers, Stanley and wife Mary of Danese, West Virginia,
Leslie and wife Bernice McClanahan of Citrus Springs, Florida,
Gary and wife Karen McClanahan of Rainelle, West Virginia,
Larry and wife Lisa McClanahan of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, and
Terry and wife Rhonda McClanahan of San Rafael, California;
2 sisters, Barbara and husband Jack Penfield of Lionsville, Pennsylvania, and Beulah McClanahan of Maryland;
2 sisters-in-law, Shirley McClanahan of Crickmer, West Virginia and Brenda McClanahan of Arkansas;
She was also preceded in death by her 4 brothers, James, Grover, Nathan, and Stirley McClanahan, 2 daughters Donna Hutton and Karen Anderson, and son Brian Tuck Sr.
