SADRO, David Mark – of Flint, MI, age 73, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021. A Graveside Service, with Military Honors, will be held 1 PM Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Sunset Hills Cemetery, 4413 Flushing Road, Flint, MI 48504; Pastor Eric Stewart officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in David’s memory.
David was born in Minden City, MI on February 14, 1948, son of the late Mark and Mary (Kowalski) Sadro. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1967-1969. David married Deanna Phyllis (Gilbert) May on December 5, 1980 and she preceded him in death on April 23, 2016. He retired from General Motors in 1999 after 30 years of service. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his wife, Deanna.
David is survived by 3 step-children, John R. (Shari) May of Davison, MI, Rick (Karen) May of Flint, MI and Laurie (Orrin) Woodward of Port Saint Lucie, FL; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 14 siblings, Joan (Gene) Pitzer, Pat (Dave) Horan, Lynn (Joe) Panula, Jean (Dale) Sontag, Sue (Jim) Meyer, Elaine (Bill) Loss, Rick (Debbie) Sadro, Dorothy (Charlie) Schwall, Kathy (Jimmy) Gingas, Pete (Jane) Sadro, Paul (Sylvia) Sadro, Doug (Vicky) Sadro, Steve (Laura) Sadro and Missy (Terry) Block; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Mary Sadro and his wife, Deanna Sadro.
