LAFRAMBOISE, Patricia A. “Pat” – of Montrose, age 76, died on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Chesaning Comfort Care in Chesaning. Private family services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Pastor Tim Hobson officiating. Burial in Montrose Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Pat was born July 6, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Clement and Dorothy (Sheehan) Stratman. She graduated from Clio High School in 1963. Pat Married Larry LaFramboise, Sr., on June 3, 1967 in Clio. She retired from General Motors - AC in 1997 with 30 years of service. Pat was affectionately known as the “coffee lady” at General Motors because she always made coffee for everyone. She enjoyed volunteering with the American Cancer Society and transporting patients to and from appointments, she also volunteered with the Montrose Athletic Boosters. Pat loved spending time up north at the cabin in Tawas, crocheting, shopping, talking on the phone, walking, and spending time with her friends. She adored birds, her most favorite was the hummingbird. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are: Loving husband, Larry LaFramboise, Sr.; Daughter, Amy (Kevin) Salter; Son, Larry LaFramboise, Jr.; Grandchildren: Alek and Matthew Salter, Dylan and Ryan LaFramboise; Siblings: Clem (Janice) Stratman, Harold (Karen) Stratman, Dorothy (Herb) Bemis, Mary Lou Booth, and Charles Stratman; Sister in law, Shari Stratman. Many loving nieces, nephews, and numerous friends whom she considered family. Pat was also preceded in death by: Brother, Thomas Stratman; Nephews: Troy Stratman and Brian Booth.
