MAJESTIC, ROY EDWARD – Of Grand Blanc, age 78, died Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 7, 2023
at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11824 South Saginaw, Grand Blanc, Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 3 pm – 8 pm Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, MI 48507.
A Scripture Service will be held 7pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Majestic will be at the church from 9am Thursday until the time of the Mass.
Roy was an avid outdoorsman who greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing. Those who knew Roy knew he loved baseball and supporting his family and friends in all of their sporting events. If you have a sports connection with Roy, please consider the option of wearing your team jersey in his honor. He would love that! Roy was born in Bad Axe, Michigan on June 15, 1945, the son of the late James and Helen (Faltinowski) Majeski. Roy married Martha Carrigan on October 17, 1964. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church for 51 years and a member of Izaak Walton League Fishing Conservation Club. Roy worked as a meat cutter for 50 years. Roy was a loyal and faithful servant of God starting as a child and throughout life.
Surviving are three children, Angela Majestic of Atlanta, Georgia,
Patrick of Swartz Creek, Amy and husband Randy Lampert of Atlanta, Georgia;
seven grandchildren, Justin, and Megan Goetz, Madison, Lily, Kaline, and Loben Majestic and Stella Lampert;
brothers, Henry and Michael (Patricia) Majestic;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha and son, Brian Majestic; siblings, James Majestic, Francis Doan and Virginia Skipinski.
