BURDA, Adela – Of Flint, age 98, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at her home.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, Reverend Father Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 9th at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Visitation also 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday until the time of Mass at the church.
Those desiring may make contributions to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Adela was born in Krasnk, Poland on October 19, 1923, the daughter of the late Joseph and Bernice (Slovinska) Cwieka.
Surviving are children, Richard (Brenda) Burda, Barbara Kovacs, Theresa Burda (Steve) and Edward (Renee) Burda;
grandchildren, Stephanie, Steven Matthew, Danny and Reanna;
great-grandchildren, Hadley, Elizabeth and Kaitlyn.
Adela was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Burda; grandson, Jeffrey and daughter-in-law, Sharon Kay.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers, Edie, Brenda, Shannon and Christa.
