PHILLIPS, Roger Mark – of Flint, Michigan, age 68, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026, at Hurley Medical Center. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Friday, August 14, 2026 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. Visitation is scheduled to begin at 11 AM. Flowers are welcome and memorial contributions may be made to Easterseals MORC, in Roger’s memory.
Roger was born in Flint, Michigan on November 24, 1957, son of Lionel and Laura Lee (Manchester) Phillips. Roger spent his life bringing joy to others. He was a dedicated advocate for families of children with disabilities, an avid pool player, and a lover of race cars, classic rock, and his cats, Mr. Clubs and Rolly. Roger found the greatest fulfillment at Jesters in Flint, where he ran weekly pool tournaments. He also worked previously as a child and family advocate through A.S.K (Advocacy Services for Kids).
Roger is lovingly survived by his children, Anna Fenner, Susan (Sherwyn) Koa, and Roger (Taylor) Phillips; his sister, Connie (Robert) Wilke, 6 grandchildren; dear friends Jimmy Brophy and Shari, and many other loving family members and friends. He rejoins his beloved daughter, Barbara Jean Phillips, and brothers, Lannie and Thomas Phillips, in rest. Roger will be deeply missed and forever remembered."
