Phillip (Marty) Venable of Flushing, age 56, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. Per the family's wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Phil was born on December 8, 1965 in Flint, Michigan to Phillip and Lorraine Venable. He graduated from Flushing High School in 1984. Phil married Karen Skidmore on February 11, 1995. Phil will be missed for his passion of life and his ability to tell great stories. He is survived by his wife, Karen; father, Phillip (Roma) Venable; and sister, Suzann Venable. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine Grubbs.
