Geoffrey Osgood Gale, age 73, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022.
Geoffrey was born October 5, 1948, in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of George and Florence (Justin) Gale. He spent his youth in Birmingham, Michigan and graduated from Groves High
School in 1966.
He earned his B.A. from Hillsdale College, an M.A. in Psychology from Central Michigan University, and an M.A. in Labor and Industrial Relations from Michigan State University. He
pursued a career in the fields of mental health, organizational behavior and human resource business strategy.
He was a musician; the bass guitar his instrument of choice. He reveled in playing out on the town with his bandmates. He was a lifelong connoisseur of music and an avid birder with an inquisitive mind. Geoff was an early adopter of technology, learning morse code for non-commercial messaging and wireless experimentation as a ham radio operator. He let us know in the early 80s that one day the internet would connect the world and everything would be done online. He was known to chase a tornado or two with his amateur radio community.
Geoffrey is survived by his daughter, Amber (Clint) Gale; sister, Debora Saxton; nephew, Brett Saxton; niece, Morgan Saxton; stepdaughter, Summer (Michael) Tucker; and other loving family
