KEEL, Bethany Jean – of Clio, age 65, died Friday, April 17, 2026 at Maple Woods Manor. Honoring Bethany’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
Bethany was born June 27, 1960 in Flint, Michigan to the late Gary and Greta (Hopkins) Gilliam. She grew up in Davison, Michigan and graduated from Davison High School with the class of 1978. On July 24, 1982 she married Larry Keel in Davison, Michigan. Prior to her retirement in 2015, Bethany worked as a legal secretary with 20 years of service. She enjoyed crafts, needle point, sewing and art. She loved traveling with her husband and working in her yard. However, her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are: Husband of 43 years, Larry Keel; Son, Nicholas (Jenni Geckler) Keel; Brother, Dan (Michele) Gilliam. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Daughter, Carla Keel; Siblings, Rick Gilliam, Mike Gilliam, Steve Gilliam. |
