Maxine Florence Bott
Age 72 of Flushing, died on Sunday, September 12th, 2021, after a string of health complications surrounded by her family.
A funeral will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at McGeehan Funeral Homes – Martin Chapel. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00pm – 8:00pm.
Maxine was born to Henry and Beatrice Russell on December 26th, 1948. She married the love of her life, Robert Bott on April 6,1968. They shared 53 years of marriage this year.
She spent her beginning years in Breckenridge, Michigan where she graduated high school and moved to Flushing where she settled and created the family she so dearly cherished. She worked in homecare for most of her life, gaining many friends and family along the way. Maxine thoroughly enjoyed gardening and games such as yahtzee and puzzles in her free time, but most importantly, spending time with her family and close friends. Maxine lived a long, full life and will be missed by all.
Maxine is survived by her husband Robert, her two children, Michele and her husband Ronald and Robert Jr and his wife Laurie; grandchildren Carl, Kelli, Joshua, Jessica, Jeremiah, Tom, John, and Matt; her great grandchildren Maxine, Franklyn, Mark, Spencer, Caydence, Grace, Sophia, Waylan and Wylie along with her siblings Max and Susan.
She is predeceased by her parents, her parents-in-law, Sisters Cathy Hadanek and Mae Thom, brother-in-law Marvin Bott, sister-in-law Linda Bott, and Grandson Mark Walker.
