Joan “Joanie” Armstrong-Loree, age 71, of Columbiaville died suddenly on
January 1, 2022
Joanie was born January 3, 1950 in Flint, Michigan to Raymond and Ethel Armstrong. She worked for Fisher Body I and transferred to Buick where she retired after 33 years in 2001. She loved to dance to R&B and Motown music. She enjoyed watching the Pistons, Tigers, and OLD school Detroit Lions.
Joanie is survived by her children Ron Loree, Angela Loree (Bill), niece Stephanie Armstrong, great-nephew Mason Armstrong, step-children: Bryan Davis, Amy (Merle) Shannon, grandchildren: bestie Khloe Rae, Drew, Charlie, Eric, and Taylor. She was also special friends with Cheryl, Judy, May, Suzette, Marilyn, and Sherry. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Larry Armstrong.
Funeral service 11:00 AM on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville, where friends may visit Thursday 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions in memory of Joanie may be made to Street Hearts Animal Rescue in Burton, Michigan.
