BUR, EMILY JULIA – Of Davison, age 81, died Saturday, May 20, 2023 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 2051 West Maple Avenue, Flint, Pastor Mark Pretznow officiating.
Entombment at Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 10am Tuesday at church until the time of the service.
Emily was born in Flint, Michigan on June 7, 1941, the daughter of the late Harlow and Florence (Morton) Jones. On February 28, 1970 she married James Bur and he preceded her in death on February 6, 2023. Mrs. Bur was a member Lamb of God Lutheran Church. She was a loving wife and mother.
Surviving are 4 sons, Marvis (Jennifer) Kildow, Billy Kildow, James Bur and Scott (Andrea) Bur;
19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren;
sisters, Elta and Wanda;
and brother, Bert;
and sisters-in-law, Marie and Edith.
