STOREY, (MCDANIEL) (THOMPSON), GERALDINE “GERRY” – Of Grand Blanc, age 85, died Monday, May 10, 2021, at her residence.
Private memorial service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Geraldine was born in Macon, Georgia on September 15, 1935, the daughter of the late Joseph and Betty (Reynolds) McDaniel.
She loved watching hummingbirds and other animals, making and eating “Southern” food like fried chicken. She made the best French toast.
She loved the Price is Right, Jeopardy, and Dancing with the stars.
Geraldine has always loved playing games, solving puzzles, and reading.
Shopping trips were one of her favorite pass times. Most of all she loved spending time with family.
Surviving are daughters, Diana Meyers of Little Elm TX and
KaSandra Cookenmaster of Grand Blanc;
9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
brother, Bobby McDaniel of Golden Valley, AZ.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Betty Mae Curtis; son, Michael Scott Storey; sister, Josephine Lockerman and brother, Joseph McDaniel.
