KELLOGG, Rollo L. – of Davison, MI, age 92, passed away on January 24, 2021 at Brookdale in Grand Blanc. A private Funeral Service was held at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. Pastor Bo Rin Cho officiated with entombment at Flint Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be considered to Davison United Methodist Church general fund or Davison Odd Fellows Lodge. A future memorial service will be held on a later date.
Rollo was born in Flint, MI on October 7, 1928, son of the late Vesper and Mildred (Getting) Kellogg. He resided in the Davison area since 1937. Rollo married Jeannine Wilcox on August 20, 1955 in Flushing, MI and she preceded him in death on January 15, 2003. He served in the United States Army during November of 1950 to 1952. Rollo was a member of Davison United Methodist Church. He was a very active member in the Davison Odd Fellows Vernor Lodge #400. Rollo and Fred owned and operated Kellogg’s Market from 1960 to 1992, then niece and nephew, Candy and Robin operated the market until it closed.
Rollo is survived by his loving fiancée, Patricia Collins; daughter, Andrea (David) West; grandchildren, Shawna Burns, Christopher (Nicole) Mathews, Melissa Gay and Samantha West; great-grandsons, Brett Gay, Cole and Kaiden Mathews; siblings, Mildred Kosbar and Betty (Ted) Dipzinski; sister-in-law, Sophie Kellogg; several nieces and nephews; many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by siblings, Ann (Robert) Rutter, Ethel (Clinton) Pyles, Fred Kellogg and Henry (Doris) Kellogg; brother-in-law, Louis Kosbar and step-son, Michael Burns.
