Age 87. Passed away on July 15th, 2014. Lawrence (Larry) was a World War II and Korean War veteran. Larry retired from General Motors’ Grand Blanc plant at the end of a rewarding 32-year career. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th at 11:00am at the Lamb of God Lutheran Church (2051 W. Maple Ave., Flint, MI). As were his wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and the Alzheimer’s Association. Preceding Lawrence’s passing is his wife of 61 years, Mary Louise Belanger. Surviving are his Sons David Belanger, James Belanger (Heather) and Paul Belanger (Paulette), and grandchildren Josh, Callie, Trent & Lily.
