KRUEGER, Alma - Age 86, of Swartz Creek, went to be with the LORD on
Monday, November 15, 2021 after a courageous 14 month battle with
cancer. Funeral services will be held 12PM Friday, November 19 at Elms
Road Church of God ( formerly German Church of God). Pastor David
Goertzen officiating. Visitation will be held 10AM until time of
service at the church. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to Christian Unity Press or Gidens.
Alma was born August 13, 1935 in Krewula, Poland, the daughter of Albert
and Else (Rosenthal) Mueller. She married Erwin Krueger on December 1,
1956 in Flint, he preceded her in death on May 12, 2012.
Alma immigrated to the U.S. in June, 1952 to Illinois, then settling in
the Flint and Swartz Creek area since 1953. Alma was a member of the
German Church of God. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting and baking.
Alma is survived by her daughter, Linda Krueger of Swartz Creek; son,
Al (Rhonda) Krueger of Grand Blanc; granddaughter, Shannon (Steve) Ball; great grandson,
Elijah Ball; siblings, Gerhard (Edith) Mueller of Swartz Creek, Linda
Jaeger of Flushing, Erika (Harold) Kilp of Armada and many wonderful nieces and
nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two older brothers, Gustav and Reinhold.
The family would like extend a special thank you to Shelly from McLaren
Hospice for her compassion and care during these last months.
