PERRY, Leonard John “Red” - Of Flint, age 92, died Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
Leonard was born in Eaton Rapids, Michigan on November 5, 1930, the son of the late Vincent and Florence (Williams) Perry. On April 28, 1956, he married Pauline Perry in Alden, Michigan and she preceded him in death on February 8, 1997. He proudly served his country in the Unites States Army as a Sergeant. Red was employed with the V8 Plant for 42 years working as a foreman for many years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of UAW Local #659. He enjoyed flying his airplane and gardening. Above all else, Red loved his family.
Surviving are children, Mary (Bill) Isaacson and Betty Perry;
grandchildren Jacqueline (Mike) Frederick, Zach Isaacson;
great-grandchildren, Cameron Isaacson, Rebecca Gilbert, Nick Gilbert and Reyna Ramiller;
and sister, Marilynn (Bill) Dewey.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline, sons, Leonard Perry and Maynard Perry, and brothers, Donald Perry and Maynard Perry.
