REED, Cory – of Clio, age 62, died Friday, December 29, 2023, at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Jude.
Cory was born May 31, 1961, in Flint, to Ernest and Laurel (Severn) Reed. He attended Clio High School, and he was employed by the Operating Engineer Local 324 and Michigan Laborer’s Local 1075 along with Eastern Asphalt for many years. Cory shared 14 wonderful years with his partner, Kristina Cadd. He was a proud member of the Flint Motorcycle Club where he shared his love for motorcycles with fellow club members. Cory loved going hunting, fishing, and singing karaoke from time to time. He was an outgoing man who made friends wherever he went. Cory had a personality that was bigger than life and even on the dullest days he was able to put a smile on your face. Above all, Cory loved his family – especially his son, Seth. He was an amazing father, son, brother, uncle, partner, and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
Cory is forever remembered by his son, Seth Reed; Mother, Laurel Reed; Siblings: Brad Reed and Nola (Mark) Warren; Nephew, Jerod; Niece, Faith; Partner, Kristina Cadd; Stepchildren: Eric Burnash, Charisse (Damon) Ballard, Adreanna Burnash; Step-grandson, Taj Burnash; Beloved friend and mother of his son, Cynthia Wells-Reed; Companion, Bear; Many loving uncles, aunts and friends. Cory was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Reed; Many beloved family members. |
