Nancy Lee “Ducky” Starnes of Davison age 76, died Tuesday November 8, 2022 at McLaren-Flint. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am Friday November 18, 2022 at Davison Missionary Church 1481 N. Gale Rd. Davison. Private inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in “Ducky’s “memory to the Davison Missionary Church or Women’s Shelter.
Nancy was born in Flint Michigan on October 30, 1946 the daughter of the late Richard & Irene (Liska) White and has resided in the Davison area since 1971. She was joined in marriage to Dale E. Starnes on September 6, 1968. She was a graduate of Grand Blanc High School Class of 1964 and attended Baker College. She loved to quilt and sew in her spare time. Nancy had been employed by Davison Township and later owned and operated the Stone House Hair & Nails.
Surviving is husband Dale, daughters: Amy and husband Jack Dinno of North Carolina, and Jill Green of California. She also leaves her loving grandchildren: Dylan, Joshua, Leena, Daylon, and Jilleah. Siblings: Richard and wife Karen White of California, Janice and husband Harvey Blanck of South Carolina and a host of extended family and friends.
