LONG, Betty L. – Of Swartz Creek, age 85, died Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Fostrian Manor.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Alzheimer’s Association.
Betty was born in Port Huron, Michigan on June 30, 1931, daughter of James and Vernice (Kerr) Greenham, and was a resident of Flint since 1962.
She taught piano for many years.
She married William Long on February 3, 1951 and he preceded her in death on April 1, 2002.
Surviving are children, Michael,
Timothy and wife Dawn
and Cindy;
8 grandchildren, Nathan, Jeremy, Matthew, Stephanie, Krystal, Samantha, Adam and Tyler;
3 great-grandchildren;
several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Also preceded in death by sons, William, Jr. and Stephen; daughter-in-law, Kyong Ae.
