BROCK, Clayton - Of Flint, age 89, died Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at his residence.

A private funeral service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.

Entombment at Crestwood Cemetery.

Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association.

Visitation 4-8pm Friday, March 5, 2021 at the funeral home.

Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.

Clayton was born in Pineville, Kentucky on July 16, 1931 the son of Andrew and Mae (Fletcher) Brock, and was a resident of the Flint area since 1946. He married Hettie Daniel on April 7, 1952 and she preceded him in death on April 1, 2007. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of UAW Local 599. Mr. Brock was employed by Buick Motor Division for 36 years, retiring in 1988. Above all else, he loved his family.

Surviving are daughters, Joann and husband Richard Tokar of Flint, Ellen Chambers of Swartz Creek, Janice Ledford of Flint and Connie and husband Jay Parker of Flint;

grandchildren, Tina, Tonya, Richard, Ashley, Carrie Jo, Courtney, Brandon and Meagan;

great-grandchildren, Sierra, Austin, Joslyn, Tyler, Haylee, Caden, Ryder and Carter;

sister, Mary Collett of Kentucky;

and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Franklin and Murphy and sisters, Willie Mae Kelton and Stella Woolum.
