Clyde R. Sager age 76, of North Toledo, died at home Saturday, December 4, 2010. Clyde was born November 15, 1934 in Toledo to Lee and Opra “Delores” (Tyson) Sager. Clyde worked for 10 years at Nordman Roofing and later became the owner of Galaxy Roofing Co. in 1969. He loved playing Bingo in Las Vegas with his former wife Rose. Clyde also enjoyed playing Poker with his buddies and going fishing with his good friend Albert Corry. His greatest joy however was spending time with his beloved family.
Surviving are his children Angela M. Barrett, Barry (Ruby) Sager, Rick (Chris) Cousino and Wilford “Willie” Cousino. Also surviving are his sisters Neva Cheasborough and Blanche (Orville) Thompson, 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and a host of extended family. Preceding Clyde in death were his parents, son Christopher, daughter Marcia Natvik, brothers Gerald and Clifford his sister Grace Knight and his favorite dog Kato.
Friends may visit Thursday December 9, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Urbanski Funeral Home 2907 Lagrange St. (at Dexter St.) (419) 244-4611. Funeral services will begin Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with interment following at Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg, OH. The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice of Northwest Ohio and to nurse and son-in-law Thomas Natvik for their care and compassion.
