Taylor, Arlene A. - Age 87, longtime resident of Flint, passed away January 19, 2025. Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 6:00 PM Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Mrs. Taylor will be laid to rest, after a private graveside service, at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
Arlene was born January 28, 1937 in Gladwin, Michigan, the daughter of the late Duane Thomas and Maxine (Stone) Ayre. She was a 1955 graduate of Flint Technical High School and she married Darrel J. Taylor on June 6, 1959. In her younger days, Arlene enjoyed riding motorcycles, snowmobiling, fishing and traveling. Most of all, Arlene loved and cherished the time spent with her family.
Surviving are her three sons, Karl, Kevin (Lori), Kris (Brenda) all of Flint; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Debbie (Rick) Fender and HarryWilliams, both from Oklahoma; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darrel Taylor; brothers, Donald and Chuck Ayre.
