Freda Westbrook Jones, of Flushing, Michigan, age 77, died Tuesday, February 6, 2024. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2024, at Rossell Funeral Home. Deacon Ron Kenney will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
Freda was born in Mount Pleasant, Michigan on July 2, 1946, to Robert and Thelma (Evans) Westbrook. She married Richard J. Jones on April 11, 1981, and he preceded her in death on April 26, 2019. Spending time with her family was her favorite pastime of all. Together they would go camping and took many treasured trips to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. She loved to bake with her grandchildren and go shopping, and was a gardener who took pride in her flowers.
She is survived by her children, Sherri (Keith) Kranz and Brian Leonard; grandchildren, Kyle Kranz, Maddie Kranz, Kristof, Dominik, and Oliver; sister, Judy Benoit; and brother-in-law, Roger Brandt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Jones; brother, Richard Westbrook; sister, Diana Brandt; and her parents. |
