Poulos, George John - Age 74, of Grand Blanc, died September 16, 2022. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, September 19 at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 2245 E. Baldwin Rd. Grand Blanc. Burial will in Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Sunday, September 18 at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek and from 10 AM Monday until the time of the service at the church. Trisagion service will also be held at 7 PM Sunday, September 18 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. George was born September 11, 1948 in Flint, the son of John and Stella (Petropoulos) Poulos. He married Sandra Ciak on June 2, 2007. He proudly owned and operated Poulos Realty as a Real Estate Broker for 37 years. He was an avid fisherman. George enjoyed duck hunting and stamp collecting. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. George is survived by his wife, Sandra; children, Hillary Poulos of Ann Arbor, Greg Poulos of Linden, Mari Wilcox of Saginaw, Chris Hawkins of Flint; grandchildren, Jordin (Nick) Lutey, Jenna Stevens, Jaydin Wilcox, Kevin Hawkins; 2 great-grandchildren, Bentley Weaver and Berkley Lutey; siblings, Chris (Debby) Poulos and Steve (Martha) Poulos; nieces and nephews, Jonathan, Kristen, Yana, Cheryl and Amelia. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Stella Poulos; and son, Kevin Wilcox. Tributes may be shared on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneral homes.com. |
