Susan Ann Rudzki, 75, of Otisville, died Tuesday March 12, 2024. She was born February 3, 1949 in Grayling to parents Orville and Elsie (Gipson) Haynes. Susan married David A. Rudzki on September 17, 1988 in Lapeer.
Mrs. Rudzki was a hard worker in a variety of fields. Most notable positions were at a newspaper, retail, 911 dispatch in Holly and Clio as well as an ambulance and rescue team. Her largest passion was crafting, specially making greeting cards and diamond painting but she would try anything. Susan really enjoyed her time in the Otisville Lions and Lioness Club, years ago as a Girl Scout leader and playing cards & games. Her warm, outgoing, chatty and positive character will certainly leave people missing her.
Susan is survived by husband: David, children: Therese Cooper, Michael (Kristi) Chilson and Jenifier (Jeff) Boyer, grandchildren: Tiffany, Kristen, Mikayla, Jordyn, Hailey, great-granddaughters, siblings: Gloria (Robert) Barnum, Linda Goss and John Haynes as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brother-in-law: Dean Goss and her aforementioned parents.
Cremation has been entrusted with Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. There will be a casual memorial service beginning around 11:30am Saturday March 23, 2024 at the Otisville Lions Den, 9490 E. Vienna Rd., Otisville 48463, with a luncheon to follow. The family will receive friends from 11:00am through.
