TRUSSELL, Susan Lynn - Age 69, of Flint. Passed away May 21, 2022. Memorial Service 12 PM Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Memorial Visitation Thursday, June 2, 2022 10 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Contributions to the family are appreciated. Sue was born February 27, 1953 to the late Garald and Jean (Wright) Hazel. She was a 1971 graduate of Mt. Morris High School. Sue married Michael J. Trussell on September 26, 1976. She was a extremely artistic woman. loved to color, crochet, and sew. She was known for her cooking and cake decorating. She had a true love for animals, especially Boston Terriers and French Bulldogs. Sue's favorite musician's were Van Morrison, Dave Matthews, Adele and played the flute. She enjoyed the experience of listening to live music. Sue loved to travel and learn the history of places in the world, most specifically she enjoyed camping with family in Interlochen, MI. She had a analytical mind and had a skill with numbers and finance. Before becoming an accountant she had her own business making wedding cakes. Prior to that she was the only female in her department of skilled trades, working at Buick as a machine repair machinist, then worked many years at Land of Hi-Fi. Sue is survived by her husband Michael Trussell; 3 children, Chris Trussell, Brian Trussell, & Kelly Trussell; grandchildren, Ryland, Leo, Aydin, & Ella; several nieces & nephews; and cherished her French bulldog Bailey. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Tom (the late Joann) Hazel, and Terry (Tina) Hazel. Memorial Service will be live streamed. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
