HUTCHISON, Jamey Lewis – of Otter Lake, MI, age 49, passed away Monday, December 12, 2022. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Scripture Service will be held 11 AM Monday, December 19, 2022 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 212 Center Street, Otisville, MI 48463; Fr. Philip Schmitter officiating. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-6 PM Saturday, December 17, 2022, 10 AM-6 PM Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 AM Monday, December 19, 2022 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. A time for Sharing of Memories will be held 5 PM Saturday, December 17, 2022 and 5 PM Sunday, December 18, 2022 followed by a Rosary at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in Jamey’s memory.
Jamey was born in Ludington, MI on May 8, 1973, son of Gary and Penny (Sands) Hutchison. He was a graduate of E.A. Johnson High School in Mount Morris, MI Class of 1991. Jamey married his best friend, Tracy Howard, on April 7, 1995. He was a proud member of Sheetmetal Local 7. Jamey was a dedicated member of the S & Z Sheetmetal family since 2001. He was an avid supporter and fan of U of M football. Everything he did was for his family. Jamey was always someone to be depended on to help in any situation. You could always rely on Jamey for honesty and a laugh. His loss is immeasurable.
Jamey is survived by his loving wife, Tracy Hutchison; 2 children, Samantha Hutchison and Joshua Hutchison; parents, Gary and Penny Hutchison; sister, Stacy Masters; many other loving family members and great friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Geraldine Sands and Donald Hutchison; 2 aunts, Cheryl Hutchison and Cherie Anderson.
