JUNE, Rodney Dennis – of Hale, MI, formerly of Davison, MI, age 72, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held 5 PM Monday August 15, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Jason Crum officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 12-5 PM Monday, August 15, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, in Rodney’s memory.
Rodney was born in Lapeer, MI on July 14, 1950, son of the late Mildred (Ackerman) Gebo. He married Denise on December 29, 2001, in Davison, MI. Rodney worked at Davison Schools for 29 years and enjoyed the time he was there, making a difference where he could. He loved the outdoors, spending much of his free time hunting, fishing and camping with his family. Rodney had a heart of gold and will be missed by everyone that knew him.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Denise June; son, Matthew (Tammy) June; stepdaughter, Tami (Greg) Griggs; stepson, Kevin (Amanda) Courneya; 6 grandchildren, Zachary June, Nicole Griggs, Lauren Griggs, Austin Courneya, Alana Courneya and Xander Courneya; brother, Dale (Diane) June; sister-in-law, Debra (Sonia) Crane; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Gebo; granddaughter, Alyssa June; 4 brothers, Gale, Elrey, Milford and Ricky; 2 sisters, Betty and Charlotte; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Charles and Jean Crane; sister-in-law, Dee Ketchmark other family members.
