Mildred “Millie” Chron, age 94, of Burton, Michigan passed away on August 25, 2022. Millie was born on December 5, 1927, in Perkins, Missouri. Her parents Earl and Nellie Keen raised their family in Flint, Michigan. Millie met the love of her life, Bill, at the dime store and they then shared lunch together while attending Flint Central High School. They married February 3, 1945 and eventually built their family home where they raised four children: Jim, Terry, Judy, and Kathy.
She loved her garden, feeding the birds, and going dancing with Bill. Millie owned her own business for many years selling Cambridge Diet. She was passionate about helping others live a healthy lifestyle for over 30 years. Millie is survived by daughter Kathy Dawson (Art MacArthur), son-in-law Terry Thibeault, daughter-in-law Dola Chron, grandchildren Kevin (Theresa) Chron, Gary (Dina) Chron, Greg (Wendy) Chron, Kristena
(Jason) Sterling, Angie Haley, Breanna Chron, great grandchildren Nicole (Adam)Warner, Thomas Chron, Alan (Sally) Chron, Nicole (Michael) Henson, Josh (Carly) Chron, Amanda (Bryce) Willingham, Kiara Lott, Brian Mourao, Grant Sterling, and Jack Sterling, several great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Millie is preceded in death by husband Billy Chron, son Jim Chron, son Terry Chron, daughter Judy Thibeault, parents Earl and Nellie Keen, in-laws Geneva “Jinny” and Vern Chron, and siblings Lester
Keen, Leonard Keen, Leroy Keen, and Gladys “Pat” Thorpe. Millie felt strongly about staying in her home with her loyal cat Buddy in her final days. The family is thankful for the care provided to her to honor her wishes.

The visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday August 31, 2022, at Hansen Funeral Home
in Davison. Memorial service will immediately follow the visitation hours followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the Humane Society or charity of choice. |
