WEAVER, ROGER DALE - Of Flint, age 74, passed away, Monday, June 22, 2026, at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 1pm Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Monday, June 29, 2026, at the funeral home.
Roger was born on May 17, 1952, in Flint, Michigan the son of the late Clinton Anton and Delilah (Hartzog) Weaver.
He married Cathy McKenzie on October 25, 1975 in Flint, Michigan.
Roger enjoyed golfing and hunting, he coached and played slow pitch softball in his younger years. He retired from GM after 33 years of service.
He served his country in the US Army.
He is survived by his children, Timothy Weaver, Tracy Weaver and Angelique (Steven) Snyder; sister-in-law, Karen Weaver; grandkids, Alax (Jason) Rivers, Timothy Metzger, Danielle Brown and Felicia Weaver; nephews, Steven (Traci) McCann, Shawn McCann; nieces, Jeanette (Lou) Gradowski and Kala Brown; several great nieces and nephews and 4 great grandchildren very special friend and care giver Tina Clark and family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Cathy Jo Weaver, brother Clinton William Weaver, sister Sandra McCann.
