FINLEY, James Lee - Of Flint, age 62, died Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor.
A private funeral service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home 1225 West Hill Road
Pastor Jerome Taylor officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Visitation 3-5pm and 6-8pm Friday, April 16, 2021 at the funeral home.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
James was born in Flint, Michigan on December 17, 1958, the son of James and Joy (Green) Finley. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. James enjoyed helping other people.
Surviving are daughter, Holly and fiance, Jesse;
Son, James and wife Alea;
Grandchildren, James, Louise, Logan, Damien and Lane;
Brothers, Ted Kodat and Richard and wife Janice Kodat;
Sister, Kathleen Mead;
Brother-in-law, Elmer; Sister-in-law, Kathy;
Wife and best friend, Connie;
and childhood friend, Bob Salem.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gordon and sister, Paula and his dog, Willow.
