ROSS, Mary Francis - Age 85, of Swartz Creek died September 5, 2021. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Saturday September 11 at North Baptist Church, 4004 Lennon Rd. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek and 10AM until the time of the service Saturday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the family discretionary fund.
Mary, was born October, 19 1935 in Conway, Arkansas the daughter of Arvil and Clarice (Boyd) Owen. Mary and her husband Ernest were married in Flint on March 6, 1953. She was a longtime member of Maranatha Baptist Church. She loved bowling, sewing and quilting.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Ernest Ross, children; Rusty (Julie) Ross, of Clio, Michigan, Randall (Kathryn) Ross, of Bad Axe, Michigan, Leora (Skip) Moyer of Kathleen, GA.; Jeffrey (Gemma) Ross, of Wetumpka, Al.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers; Jim Owen, Dale Owen and Pete Owen. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
