GERMAIN, DOROTHEA M. – Of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Flint, age 95, died Monday, December 28, 2020 at Park Senior Villa.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Dorothea was born in Flint, Michigan on June 14, 1925, the daughter of the late Thomas R. and Wilhelmina E.(Buttleman) Scott.
On October 5, 1946 she married William Germain.
She was a former member of Maranatha Baptist Church and was very active in the church.
She enjoyed camping, traveling and spent several years as campground hostess at Interlochen State Park. She wintered in Florida for several years.
Mrs. Germain worked at GM/Kettering and U of M Flint.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are sons, Daniel (Penny) Germain and David (Linda) Germain;
grandchildren, Renae (Ian) Germain and Ryan Germain;
She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 2015 and 6 siblings.
