BLAKESLEE, Maxine E. – of Flint, died Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at her residence. She was 77 years of age.
Maxine was born March 8, 1943 in Saginaw County to the late Raymond and Theresa (Smith) Blakeslee. She was a Flint area resident for over 55 years. She had been employed by Owosso Memorial Hospital and then Spring Grove Variety Store (aka the nickel and dime store) at one time. Maxine was a member of New Creations Church of God in Flint. She enjoyed being an artist.
Surviving are: sisters Lorraine Rosencrans and Connie (Jose) Perez all of Chesaning, sister in law Margaret Blakeslee of Reed City, many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was also preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held at Ridge Road Cemetery (corner of Ridge Road and Brennan Rd.) on Friday October 16, 2020 at 11 a.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to New Creations Church of God.
