STEVENS, Verney – Of Flint, age 59, died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Heartland Health Care Center–Fostrian.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor David Chittenden officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 9 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Verney was born in Flint, Michigan on May 15, 1956, the daughter of Russell Leo and Lenora (Stollings) Stevens.
Verney graduated from Grand Blanc High School Class of 1975.
She was a member of Great Lakes Baptist Temple.
Surviving are parents, Russell Leo and wife Lenora Stevens of Gaines;
two brothers, David and wife Cindy Stevens of Simpsonville, South Carolina and Dan Stevens of Gaines;
sister, Victoria Ostrosky of Florida;
several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend- Anthony.
