BRANHAM, Barbara S. – of Clio, age 70, died Saturday, May 15, 2021 at McLaren Flint. Funeral Services will be held 11AM Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at New Life Church in Flushing. Pastor Dennis Tanner officiating. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Funeral Home in Clio on Tuesday from 4PM until 8PM and at the church on Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM.
Barbara was born June 5, 1950 in Wheelwright, Kentucky to the late Archie and Myrtle (Hill) Moore. She graduated from Wheelwright High School where she met and later married Charles “Doug” Branham on June 22, 1968. Barbara worked for General Motors Fisher Body until 1989. She was a member of New Life Church in Flushing. Barbara loved cooking and baking for her family and friends, making peanut butter fudge, HoHo cake and dumplings for every occasion. Above all, she loved her family and watching her grandchildren grow up. Barbara was a loving, selfless and giving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
Left to cherish her memory are: Son, Stephen (Melinda) Branham; Grandchildren: Jonathon Valliere and Jacob (Heather) Branham; Brother, Leroy (Sue) Moore; Sister, Sherry Branham; Step sister, Anne Russ; Sister, Judy Climer; Several nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by: Husband, Doug Branham; Sisters, Dorothy Henson and Jearley Isaac; Special friend, Bill Tate.
