KOLBE, William F "Bill" -- Age 77, of Swartz Creek, died May 22, 2025. Services will be held 3 PM Sunday, June 8, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 11 AM Sunday June 8 until time of service at 3 PM at the funeral home. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly at a later time. Those desiring may make contributions to Wounded Warrior Project.
Bill was born April 17, 1948 in Flint the son of Jack Renshaw Kolbe and Hazel Frances (Anderson) Kolbe. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Bill retired from General Motors (Buick). He enjoyed riding motorcycles, golfing, sailing and spending time with his grandsons.
He is survived by his wife Sharon; three daughters, Heather Locker of Flushing, Dawn Shaum (Lee Havard) of Swartz Creek, Tiffany (Greg) Wood of Flushing; eight grandsons, Braden, David, Tyler, Nathan, Easton, Cameron, Isaiah and Christian; sister, Judy Simons.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Frances Kolb; brothers, Jack Kolbe and Joseph Kolbe.
