PETERMAN, Kim Lewis – of Burton, MI, formerly of Punta Gorda, FL, age 75, passed away September 29, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his family. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 3 PM Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Community of Christ Church, 2120 Wilmar St., Burton, MI. Visitation will be from 2 PM until time of the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
Kim was born in Detroit, MI on September 15, 1946, son of the late John and Mildred (Booth) Peterman. He graduated from Flint Southwestern in 1964. He married Donna Luce on August 15, 1964, and she preceded him in death on October 8, 2018. Kim and Donna lived in Davison for 25 years and resided in Florida for 30 years. He was a very loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. Kim enjoyed golfing, car shows, traveling, tinkering with his coin collection and spending time with his family and friends.
Kim is survived by his son, Michael (Alicia) Peterman; grandchildren, Taylor (Bryce Bertrand) Peterman and Haylee Peterman; great-grandsons, Skyler and Rhett Bertrand; brothers, Jack (Carol) Peterman, Tom (Cheryll) Peterman; sisters-in-law, Mary Uptegraff, Katherine McGinnis and Lola Robson; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; son, Jeffrey Peterman.
