Hagan, Jean Ellen of Flushing, age 84, died Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Living Joy Memory Care in Flushing. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Rossell Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2022, and 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society or the Flushing Area Historical Society.
Jean was born in Flint, Michigan on October 21, 1937, the daughter of Robert and Jessie Graham. She married Dr. Raymond Hagan on July 7, 1977, at Faith Missionary Church in Flushing. Jean worked for many years at her husband’s dental practice in Flushing. Together, they enjoyed spending winters in Florida on Marco Island. He preceded her in death on February 3, 2019. Jean enjoyed gardening, being involved in the book club, and adored her dogs.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Wixson; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert and wife Sue Graham. Jean was also preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and James Rush.
