MOSS, Judy- of Clio, age 71, died Monday, October 17, 2022, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Funeral service will be held 11AM Monday, October 24, 2022, at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Sarah LaRose officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home Sunday, October 23, 2022, from 12PM until 8PM and Monday from 10AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Calvary Community Church or to the family for future designation.
Judy was born June 16, 1951, in Flint, to the late John and Evelyn (Bodis) Leineke. She attended Clio Community Schools where she received her high school diploma and worked at General Motors for 30 years in the AC Spark Plug division. Judy was a member of Calvary Community Church in Flint for many years. Her life reflected her deep faithfulness to her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. On June 21, 1969, Judy married the love of her life and best friend, Mark Moss. Together they shared 53 wonderful years and raised two beautiful children. Judy was known for her giving personality and the love she had for her family. She always put others before herself and never failed to make others smile or feel welcome. Judy enjoyed going to the casino, shopping, and stopping at every garage sale during the summer. Above all, Judy was simply amazing and will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
Judy is survived by her loving husband, Mark Moss Sr.; Children: Mark (Laci) Moss Jr. and Jill (Brad) Smude; Grandchildren: Mark III, Aubreana, Mackinlee, Cole, Luke, Brooke, and Max; Siblings: Sandi (Dan) Gibbs, Sue Leineke, and Mark (Jeane) Leineke; Mother-in-law, Doris Moss; Sisters-in-law: Gloria (Edd) Dickerson and Susan (Jim) Starrs; Many nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Evelyn; Brothers: John and Mike Leineke; Father-in-law, Bill Moss. |
