KELLETT, Dennis - Of Flint, age 65, died Thursday, June 11, 2026 at his residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Saturday, June 20, at St. Mark Church, 7296 Gale Road, Grand Blanc, MI 48439. Father Dave Howell officiating.
Visitation 1-8pm on Friday, June 19, with a Rosary Prayer Service at 7:30 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 10am Saturday at church until the time of Mass.
Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI at 1:00pm Monday, June 22, 2026.
Dennis was born in Flint on March 31, 1961, the son of Robert W. and Jo-Ann (Seidenwand) Kellett. He attended St. Lukes and graduated from Powers Catholic High School in 1979. He attended Mott Community College. He served in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear welder stationed at the USS Dixon in San Diego, CA. After serving he worked as a tooling and product designer. Dennis had a big heart and put God first in his life. He loved his family and enjoyed conversations with everyone. He consistently put others before himself and always offered a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He found joy in giving thoughtful gifts and making others feel remembered and loved. Dennis was a member of the Knights of Columbus, dedicating his time to service and charity.
Surviving are: his brother James and wife Stacy, 5 sisters, Ann Marie Yee and husband Harvey, Teresa Allard, Jeanne Kaczorowski and husband Bob, Mary Jo Owen and husband Niles, Michelle VanTol and husband John. 20 nieces and nephews, 29 great nieces and nephews, and 1 great great niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. and Jo-Ann Kellett, his brother Robert J. Kellett, his nephews Robert Kaczorowski, James Kaczorowski and John VanTol II; great nephew Antonio Vasquez.
