Caitlin Erin Boudreau, of Byron Center, Michigan, formerly of Flushing, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday, January 20th at Rossell Funeral Home in downtown Flushing. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2022, at St. Robert Catholic Church in Flushing. Fr. Jonathan Perrotta will officiate. If desired or in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mel Trotter Ministries of Grand Rapids, Van Andel Institute (Biomedical Research) or Genessee County Humane Society.
Caitlin was born in Flint, Michigan on May 3, 1986, to Brian and Mary (McCarty) Boudreau. She attended St. Robert Elementary School and Flushing High School. Caitlin received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Western Michigan University. She had a successful and fulfilling career working as a registered nurse in Traverse City and Grand Rapids. Recently she had begun a second career path as a Pilates Instructor. Caitlin was an avid Michigan State Spartan Fan. She enjoyed spending her free time with her many friends and family as well as her dogs Biscuits and Quinn. Caitlin loved travel, photography, good food, and dancing. She had a smile and laugh that were infectious and she lit up the room with her presence.
Caitlin is survived by her mother and father, Mary and Brian Boudreau; sisters, Maureen Bailey and Celeste Boudreau; brother in laws, Troy Bailey and Matthew Cook; her dog Biscuits and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Maxine McCarty and Louis and Dorothy Boudreau; aunt and uncle, Suzie and James Carol; and cousin, Ryan Boudreau. |
