DALASINSKI, Jeannetta Ann (Jones). – Of Clio, age 71, went to be with her loving Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 22, 2015 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at First Wesleyan Church in Flint. Rev. Frank Beck officiating. Private burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3-8PM and at the church on Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Contributions may be made to First Wesleyan Church.
Jeannetta was born on March 9, 1943 in Bowling Green, KY to the late E. Charles and Rosa Etta Jones. She married Joseph Dalasinski on June 17, 1959 in Franklin, Kentucky. Jeannetta was a very involved member of First Wesleyan Church in Flint. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. Jeannetta enjoyed going fishing with her husband and reading. She blessed her family with her southern cooking. Most of all, Jeannetta loved sharing her love of Jesus with her beautiful voice singing his praises.
Surviving are: Husband of 55 years, Joseph Dalasinski of Clio; Son, Randy (Arlene) Dalasinski of Tennessee; Daughter, Tonia (Daniel) Vasquez of Saginaw; Grandchildren: Nathan (Mailie,) Ryan, Nicole, Felicia and LaShelle; Great-Grandchildren: Maverick and Colin; sister, Charlene (James) Lewis of Mt. Morris; brother, David (Lucielle) Jones of Kentucky; brother and sister in law, Arthur (Barb) Dalasinski of Frankenmuth; several dearly loved nieces and nephews; special friends: John (Phyllis) Spencer and Richard (Teri) Popham. Jeannetta was preceded in death by: Father in law, Alexander Blanche Dalasinski; 4 brothers and sisters; grandson, Brandon Dalasinski. The family wishes to thank: Dr. Balcueva, St. Mary's of Saginaw (4th floor,) Heartland Hospice and Maple Woods Manor for the special care they gave to Jeannetta.
